selfLAN 530

The machine series selfLAN 530 has been developed by LANGGUTH especially for the paint and varnish industries, however, it is also meant for all other industry segments that process pails or conical products. Through the integration of automatic adjustments and various coding technologies, the selfLAN 530 meets the needs of diverse production requirements.

Furthermore LANGGUTH’s modular design incorporates flexibility so that virtually all paint and varnish containers can be labelled on a single machine. Canister or can labelling – no problem. High-quality engineering, robustness as well as fast, repeatable changeovers highlight just some of the longterm benefits of this labeller.

Container:For conical, oval, round, angular containers
Container passage:130 – 330 mm
Label length:Min. 120 mm, max. 370 mm
Label height:Max. 220 mm
Speed:Up to 1500 Containers / h

Operation:

The labeler’s conveyor chain carries containers through the inline labeller. At the infeed a metering device creates a repeatable gap between containers, initiating progressive labelling processes. As a metered container is released a photo eye activates the pressure sensitive label dispensing head. The label web indexes with each container until the label meets a peel plate where each label is separated from the backing paper and transferred completely off the web to a vacuum plenum then to the container. The multi axis adjustable plenum ensures large labels apply wrinkle-free to conical shapes. The vacuum plenum ensures precise label application and high quality billboard appearance.

Options:

– Automated container handling such as orientation, handle lifting
– Additional label options, f.ex. for the application of coloured stickers, code labels, etc.
– Automatic adjustments at the touch of a button
– Marking technologies such as thermal transfer and inkjet printing
